Welcome to Grateful Fred Music, a site dedicated to providing the widest variety of Christian Music anywhere, and specializing in vinyl records. As long as vinyl records are being found and desired, I will continue to offer them. I really appreciate all of my loyal customers that order time and time again! It really lets me know that what I am doing is of use to you.
Well, it's been 6 years since I started with a very small paper catalog that I printed on a friend's computer. I mailed it out to about 100 people that had responded to a little classified ad in CCM Magazine. This was back in May 1994. At the time, I was just trying this to see if there was any interest and was thinking it would be a fun hobby if nothing else. I had no idea what would happen after that! I had no idea I would get customers from all over the world buying records from me! Those of you still with me from the beginning can see the progress over the years and I thank you for ordering with me still.
Then in March of 1998, a customer of mine, Harriet, offered to do a website for me and it has really been growing fast after that!
I'd like to use Fred's Corner this month to let you know about some very exciting additions to Grateful Fred Music. Recently I started putting items on eBay (see link below). If you are not familiar with eBay, it is a website that people can put things up for bid, or the customer can browse for things they may be looking for. These are usually items that are rarer, or things that I normally wouldn't sell on my website. I have tried to limit Grateful Fred Music to Christian Music, or music by Christians not in the CCM industry. On eBay, I may offer other styles of music, such as pop, rock, classical, jazz, country etc. I will be listing new things almost every day.
If you are interested in other styles of music, I would suggest you take a look at my Ebay page often to see what's new on it. Or you can e mail me directly and ask for something. I know many of you don't just listen to Christian music; so, if you're looking for pop, rock, country, jazz or other music, please let me know.
Another important addition to Grateful Fred Music, is the acceptance of ALL MAJOR CREDIT CARDS! Many of you when ordering have asked when I was going to be able to take credit cards and finally the day has arrived! I can accept AMERICAN EXPRESS, DISCOVER, MASTERCARD, AND VISA now! (For more information, just look at the ORDERING INFORMATION section.) I really hope a lot of you will take advantage of this service, as it does cost me to offer it even if no one charges anything.
Besides taking credit cards, I am now able to take check orders over the phone, fax or e mail and make your checks for you. Using Checkman, I can take the information and process a check that I can take to the bank. This site is not a secure site, so I understand if you may not want to send your information over e mail, but you can also call it in and talk to me most evenings, or leave the information on the voice mail. You can also send your information on 2 e mails and break up the card information.

Keep looking at our website to be up to date. I should have everyone's email in an update database for sending news from time to time.
